Durango Dance’s Studio Director Miriam Morgan produces classes with 5 other teachers. Plié Playschool for preschoolers is a program for play based learning through movement. Elevé offers a variety of dance classes like tap/jazz, ballet, and contemporary/hip-hop for different ages groups from 4 to 14. The Relevé class is for adults with core flex, barre, modern, and ballet choices. Upcoming classes include baby & me yoga and a glow barre sensory experience. Ballet Durango coincides their ballet classes with the 9-R school district schedule, with two semesters. Frances Rosser Taylor, Director, oversees a multitude of jazz, tap, contemporary, pointe, lyrical, and musical theater dance classes. Bella Dance Studio offers regular classes as well as auditions for spots on their award-winning performance teams. From jazz, ballet, and tap to hip-hop, contemporary, and lyrical styles, there are options for everyone 3 years and older. The performance teams range from 7-18 years old and travel to places like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Denver, and Phoenix.
