We’re heading into fall and it’s the perfect time to take advantage of Durango’s newest creative pastime: Durango Drive In. It’s a unique outing that allows visitors to social distance and watch a movie. This week is the last week to enjoy one of these features. A variety of movies will show at the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad parking lot (209 W. College Dr.) Gremlins, The Addams Family, The Wizard of Oz, Beetlejuice, Groundhog Day, and Creature from the Black Lagoon will each be featured, one per night until Sunday.
The admission includes a Movie Snack Pack with popcorn, candy, and soda. Tickets must be purchased online in advance and include one vehicle (6 passengers) or 2 motorcycles. The gates open at 7, and shows start at 8. Movie goers could even purchase dinner and enjoy before the movie starts!
Our community has found so many creative ways to enjoy entertainment since the start of COVID, and this is one more reason we love living and working here. Take a look at the website and enjoy this special opportunity: https://www.durangodrivein.com/
