Spring has sprung, and we are looking forward to Easter this next weekend! Durango offers a variety of activities over the holiday weekend for the whole family to enjoy.

The Easter Egg Scramble, a free community event, will be held on Saturday, April 20 at Smith Sports Complex, starting at 9:45 a.m. This is one of Durango’s annual traditions, and toddlers to 8 year olds are divided by age group for the hunt. Bring a basket to carry your goodies home!

The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad offers a Hops and Hops train excursion. Kids will receive Easter baskets with crafts to do on the train ride. At Cascade Canyon, the Easter Bunny will greet everyone, then there will be an Easter Egg hunt for the kids (weather permitting; if weather is bad the hunt will occur at the railroad museum). The concession stand will sell Hoppy Brew drinks for the adults. Take a look at the website for more information: https://www.durangotrain.com/events/hops-hops#.XLTryutKhAY

Durango Harley Davidson will be hosting a Bike Blessing and Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny from 10-1 on Saturday.
