Summer is approaching! More events are happening and exciting opportunities to get outside and experience what Durango has to offer are arising. ay is just the beginning of a small taste to the fun filled summer ahead. Of course everyone is excited about hiking, biking, fishing, and camping but do not forget to check out some of the local events that are happening this month right in our backyard.
The Durango Farmer’s Market is back for the summer. Starting May 8th and located at 259 W 9th Street in the TBK Bank parking lot, check out what local farms have to offer. Pick up some locally made cheese from James Ranch or some fresh produce from Turtle Lake. The farmers market is a great way to start your Saturday morning and help support local businesses.
Tico Time River Resort is hosting a handful of concerts this summer including the Bluegrass, Reggae, and River of Souls Festivals happening this month. While you’re enjoying some live music you can check out the zipline, cruise down the river on a standup paddle board, or experience some excitement by going down one of the water slides at the resort.
