The Three Springs neighborhood community began with a plan and a vision for a better way of living that brought together the very best of traditional neighborhoods and packaged it with the very smartest way to build and grow in today’s world. The sense of community that we see at Three Springs continues to astound and make us smile. We see generations of families living here just a few homes apart. We have no “typical” resident — from active retirees to recently graduated young people embarking on the start of their careers and young families with children who tell us that they like it at Three Springs because it “just seems greener.”
Here you will find unique artwork, subtle touches like leaf imprints in sidewalks, and even colorful street signs. | RECREATION | One of the very best things about life at Three Springs is the recreational opportunities that abound. Our residents literally leave their homes by foot or bicycle and can access miles of trails. The SMART 16O trail is a continuation of the Animas River Trail; the Telegraph Trail system provides miles of single track, and then there are our very own trails like the Spurline Trail. | BUSINESS DISTRICT | The business community at Three Springs is vibrant and growing. With Mercy Regional Medical Center as our anchor, the Mercado Street district is all things health and well-being. We even boast our own Durango Police substation as well as a planned fire station. Many of the companies who have chosen to call Three Springs home, have locations in other parts of southwest Colorado or New Mexico. It just works to be at work at Three Springs. | SCHOOLS | During the master plan development for Three Springs, we have always envisioned and have designated an area for a school campus. When enrollment numbers warrant a new school, Three Springs will work with school officials. In the meantime, our school-aged children have options close-by. |
