Halloween Events 2024

Halloween Events 2024

Spooky season is here with Halloween coming up soon! Durango offers plenty of community events for the holiday. Here are some of our favorites.

Jack-A-Lope Acres

Located just west of Ignacio, Jack-a-lope Acres is a family farm offering autumnal fun for everyone. Explore their 10 acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, yard games, hay rides, potato cannons, jump pad, and much more as part of their Pumpkin Festival which runs from September 14 - October 27, 2024. A food truck, prepackaged snacks, canned goods, beverages, and more goodies are available on site. Special events such as sunset pumpkin tours, movie nights, and glow mazes are scheduled throughout the season. Field trips, birthday party venues, and other large group accommodations are also offered.

Falfa Pumpkin Patch

Falfa Pumpkin Patch is just minutes from downtown Durango just off of Hwy 172 . They offer visits to their large pumpkin patch where the public can choose their favorite and pick it right off the vine! A small farm who’s history dates back to the early 1900s, this is a true family-centric farm that offers free admission. There are fun activities such as a stationary train, barrel train rides, corn pit, and more with pumpkin picking as the highlight. These reasonably priced pumpkins come in different sizes, colors, and odd varieties! The Wells Group has partnered with Falfa for many years to provide our clients with free pumpkins at our downtown Durango office.

Downtown Durango Children’s Halloween

Downtown Children’s Halloween is an event hosted by the Durango Business Improvement District, along with any merchants/restaurants/businesses that want to play a part. Kids 10 and under in costume can receive treats along Main Street in Historic Downtown Durango from 4 - 6 pm on October 31st. This provides a safe, fun, and community-centric Halloween experience. In addition, the Children’s Carnival and Trunk-or-Treat will be at TBK Bank, in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club for kids 14 and under.

Three Springs Fall Festival and the Durango Team Pumpkins
