This year marks the 27th year of the Durango Bluegrass Meltdown in Durango, Colorado. seventeen bands from across the country and locally will join together from April 21 – 23, 2023. These three days will be filled with concerts, jam sessions, contests, workshops, throughout town as well as a barn dance.
The Durango Arts Center, Animas City Theater, and the Wild Horse Saloon are Main Stages for this great music. Headlining bands such as Tunnel Drive, High County Hustle, and Tall Poppy Sting Band will be playing.
Since 1995, The Durango Bluegrass Meltdown has been a non-profit organization that helps integrate bluegrass music in schools in our area. The festival has hosted 537 bands, 1361 sets, and engaged 14,734 fans.
