March is just around the corner, and there’s plenty to do in Southwest Colorado next month!
Winter Market
Saturday, March 7th marks the last Winter Market at the Four Seasons Greenhouse and Nursery in Dolores, CO. Over 40 vendors will showcase their produce, baked goods, crafts, activities, and live music at this indoor farmers market experience, open from 10am - 1pm.
Powder Hounds Art Auction
Marking the 8th year of this event, the Powder Hounds Art Auction combines art, animals, and snow! Upcycled snowboards have been transformed by local artists and will be bid on online until March 17, benefiting the La Plata County Humane Society. The online auction’s kickoff party is on March 6 from 5 -7 pm, hosted at The Powerhouse.
Spring in the Rockies Arts & Crafts Festival
One of three annual Miss Margie’s Festivals, the Spring in the Rockies Arts & Crafts Festival is on March 28 & 29 this year. On Saturday, the doors are open from 9am - 3 pm and from 10am - 2 pm on Sunday. Located in the Exhibit Hall at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, there’s a wide variety of local artisans selling their one-of-a-kind pieces. You can find paintings, sculptures, jewelry, textiles, and more.
